About Dr. Riya Dimagiba

Dr. Ma. Teresa "Riya" Ela-Dimagiba has been a practicing dermatologist for over 12 years and is board-certified by the Philippine Dermatological Society.

Her pre-medical educational background includes graduating as a scholar at the Philippine Science High School and acquiring a BS Biology degree at the University of the Philippines, Diliman under a DOST scholarship.

Dr. Riya obtained her medical degree at U.E Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center. Her post-graduate medical internship was at the UP- Philippine General Hospital.

Dr. Riya’s dermatology and dermatologic surgery training was obtained at the Skin and Cancer Foundation one of the 10 accredited dermatology training institutions of the Philippine Dermatological Society.

Dr. Riya is an Active Consultant at the Makati Medical Center and the Skin and Cancer Foundation involved in training residents in dermatology.

Dr. Riya’s affiliations include among others memberships in the UP Pre-Med Honor Society, Philippine Medical Association, Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc.,, Philippine Dermatological Society, American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Dermatology.
